Dr. Jerome Corsi first came to national prominence (and to the attention to this author) as the co-author of the book Unfit for Command a 2004 book critical of Democratic presidential Candidate John Kerry. Most recently his book, The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality, was published in an attempt to defeat Barack Obama in the 2008 presidential campaign.

The Obama Campaign published a rebuttal of Obama Nation entitled Unfit for Publication [pdf] detailing factual inaccuracies in Corsi’s book.
Corsi should be familiar to students of conspiracy theories. Corsi believes the Democrats are secretly selling nuclear secrets to Iran and he also claimed that terrorists were funneling money in to the 2008 campain of Republican candidate John McCain.
In 2006, Corsi wrote an article for HumanEvents.com in which he claimed that the Bush administration was secretly trying to set up a North American Union between the US, Canada and Mexico modeled on the European Union. Corsi wrote:
President Bush intends to abrogate U.S. sovereignty to the North American Union, a new economic and political entity which the President is quietly forming, much as the European Union has formed.
