It was a slow news day on the Obama conspiracy front, but Repubx.com is always good for something noteworthy (I think humor is noteworthy). I was greeted by a flashing banner:
This site implements the Obot-proof guidelines for Blogsphere v1.5
Don’t ask me what that means.
But what I really wanted to comment on was this headline:
Tracking Congress: HR 985 – Free Flow of Information Act submitted by Democrat to further protect Obama’s documents
Rather than letting the reader read and understand the bill’s language, it is excerpted and INTERPRETED for them in long paragraphs beginning “in other words”. Of course, no link is provided to the actual legislation (for reasons that will be come obvious shortly). We at Obama Conspiracy Theories think our readers are smart intelligent folks who deserve a link to check things out for themselves. So you go read it before I start poisoning your mind with what follows.
Now you see from the Repubx headline that they are spinning this as allowing Obama to keep his documents hidden, but the real bill has a curious introduction:
To maintain the free flow of information to the public by providing conditions for the federally compelled disclosure of information by certain persons connected with the news media.
That’s right kiddies, it’s a bill to protect the news media from being forced to disclose their sources, thereby encouraging sources to talk freely with the media, and so maintain the free flow of information. But does this somehow protect Obama too? Well no. It only applies to “covered persons” who are defined as:
The term ‘covered person’ means a person who regularly gathers, prepares, collects, photographs, records, writes, edits, reports, or publishes news or information that concerns local, national, or international events or other matters of public interest for dissemination to the public for a substantial portion of the person’s livelihood or for substantial financial gain and includes a supervisor, employer, parent, subsidiary, or affiliate of such covered person [followed by exclusions for criminals and terrorists].
So, just one more nObama lie. Too many of those, way too many.
In a postscript, let me note that they report daily number of pages served by their site. They have about three times as many hits as Obama Conspiracy Theories on an average day. This proves the saying of Jesus:
(Mat 7:13-16 NASB) “Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide, and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter by it. {14} “For the gate is small, and the way is narrow that leads to life, and few are those who find it. {15} “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. {16} “You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes, nor figs from thistles, are they?
Wait Repubx.com is ran by Jesse Smith?? From what I can see he’s the programmer/co-CEO for a two man ASP.net shop. Here’s the link to the company Ifusionsoft.com:
http://www.ifusionsoft.com/default.aspx?stat=1
If he designed repubx.com. He must be a pretty good ASP.net programmer, but a crappy web designer.
What’s the deal with the pingback to obamaconspiracy.org in the comment section?
You crack me up Dr, so much good information that shows the lack of content from some of these birthers.
PS: Connerat v Obama (small claims court) was tossed out. See The Right Side of Life site.
Sure it’s the same guy? “Jesse Smith” is a pretty common name. I knew a “Linda Starr”, definitely not the birfer Linda Starr.
Seems the bill was introduced before. So much for the continued paranoia and ignorance of some who in their haste to ‘defend the constitution’ forget to do the hard work necessary.
This guy has issues. In his little headline bar a couple weeks ago he wrote that he doesn’t do sensationalized headline.
Right under that he had an article syaing that Acorn was going to get some billions of dollars from the stim package. But then reading the actual post it was very clear that they wouldn’t.
His posts about the forgery of images only shows me that he may know active server page caa caa but the basic old school stuff about hex editing and file headers is totally missing from his education.
And if you are waiting on him to approve any comment that doesn’t agree with his deluded vision than you should wait for your gray hair to change back to its normal color by itself. This applies to me as well.
I do sensationalized headlines, but the articles are true (except those labeled wild and wacky that may contain jokes and satire).
It’s him. Same guy. Email address and screen name proved it awhile ago. It’s over at PJ’s.
I thought he was referring to Jesse. I have never been able to get a comment through over there.
Repubx has a strange way with quotation marks.

Governor Gibbons criticizes Obama over denied meeting request (all Obama has done is bring negative economic change to Nevada)
by DefendUSx May 18, 2009 19:26
Gov. Jim Gibbons said today that Usurper Obama has denied his request to meet with him in Las Vegas later this month.
The governor had sent the Usurper a letter last month saying he wanted to discuss the economic difficulties facing the state’s tourism industry. Gibbons said today that he was notified Obama won’t meet with him while the Usurper is in Las Vegas on May 26 for a fundraiser for Sen. Harry Reid.
“I am disappointed at the hypocrisy shown by this administration,” Gibbons said in a prepared statement. “Usurper Obama is coming to Las Vegas later this month for a political fundraiser, but he will not help the struggling families in Las Vegas and Nevada who are out of work because of his reckless comments.”
Gibbons is referring to comments Obama made earlier this year regarding business trips to Las Vegas by companies receiving federal bailout money.
“This is politics, pure and simple, Usuper Obama stood for change, but all he has done is brought negative economic change to Nevada,” Gibbons said.
Quote from the Governor’s office: http://www.ktnv.com/Global/story.asp?S=10383051
“I am disappointed at the hypocrisy shown by this Administration,” Gibbons said, “President Obama is coming to Las Vegas later this month for a political fundraiser, but he will not help the struggling families in Las Vegas and Nevada who are out of work because of his reckless comments.” Governor Gibbons noted, “President Obama is coming to Las Vegas to raise campaign cash for Senator Harry Reid, apparently our money is good enough for the President, but our tourism, jobs, and economic future are not.” Gibbons added, “This is politics, pure and simple, President Obama stood for change, but all he has done is brought negative economic change to Nevada.”
I wonder if the good Governor would not appreciate having words put into his mouth? Quotation marks are powerful. Watch for headlines in the right-wing media such as, “Governor Jim Gibbons of Nevada declares Obama to be a usurper.” “High public official admits the truth at last: Obama is a usurper.”
