Unfortunately if there are any of the Orly or other followers listening to you on the show, I doubt they will have an open mind to listen to what you have to say. They are so brainwashed that they are delusional. For instance Orly and her followers are anxiously waiting for July 13. I think they believe that after all of the failures, they will finally get one to go their way…

Keep in mind that service of a notice of hearing is different than service of a summons & complaint. Service of the notice is governed by Rule 5 rather than Rule 4.
I agree that the mailed service on the AG’s office is a tacit concession that Obama is sued in his official capacity.
Service of this notice in this manner will not confer jurisdiction on the court.
In an ordinary case, where a party is seeking a default and has properly served the initial summons, this form of service would typically be adequate. That is, first the plaintiff gets proper service of the summons and complaint; after the time for response to such complaint has elapsed, the plaintiff seeks to enter default, and sends the defendant mailed notice of the default and any hearings on that.
But Orly didn’t complete step #1. So she can’t get her default; and she may have lost the chance to serve the summons. The Judge had issued an order giving her extra time to complete service of the summons, but rather than abide by that order, she filed a motion for reconsideration. So that’s what is now before the court.
The Judge will have 2 options at the hearing: (a) reiterate his previous order that the summons and complaint have to be served & grant Orly an additional extension of time to do so; or (b) dismiss the case in accordance with his original order. Unless he hears a very respectful & heartfelt apology from Orly, there’s little chance of the first option.

From what I understand about Judge Carter, he does not suffer fools. And Taitz does seem to be respect-impaired.
Taitz requested (in the alternative) that the court certify the issue for an interloc. appeal (presumably, to “keep alive” her alleged pre-inauguration service). I’m guessing the judge will give her a full-blown appeal (i.e., will dismiss).
The case wasn’t even filed until about 6 hours after the inauguration.
Its obvious on the face of the complaint that it lacks merit in any case…. so the July 13th court appearance should be interesting.
Sven was duly mentioned in the broadcast around the 75 minute mark (+/-), but I did not say the birthers are clinically insane.

I enjoyed the show, initially GeorgetownJD’s comments were detailed and easy to follow, I loved it, but I enjoyed it a bit more when you came on. The alternate reality that birthers occupy is fascinating (though sad). When will a birther have a valid point even if it’s just one. Also thanks to Reality Check for the link to the next program, I will be sure to listen.
