By conspiracy here I do not mean necessarily people acting as part of a unified effort. I’m including people who inexplicably fail to carry out their legal, statutory, ethical or professional responsibilities. I am talking about people who take bribes, cover up and tell public lies.
Update: Quite a few additional items have been added since the original publication of this article, and continue to be added.
According to the Obama denialists the “truth” involves many actors hiding that truth including:
- The United States Army. There are several instances of this, including the allegation that the Army rescinded deployment of Major Cook to keep Obama’s records from coming out (they wouldn’t) and the refusal by the Investigating officer in the Lakin prosecution to allow him to subpoena Obama’s kindergarten records.
- Billionaire George Soros who is secretly pulling the strings behind “all this.”
- Nancy Peolsi, Chairwoman of the Democratic National Convention who signed an affidavit that Obama was eligible.
- The document forgers who forged the COLB and created fake microfilm containing Obama birth announcement in Hawaii newspapers, and their accomplices who have replaced all the copies in all the libraries.
- John McCain, Hillary Clinton and the entire Republican Party who inexplicably failed to raise the eligibility issue during the debates and the campaign.
- White House press secretary Robert Gibbs who keeps reporters from asking probing questions about Obama’s eligibility.
- The FEMA officials who hiding the fact that they are planning to house all the birthers once they are rounded up.
- The CIA. The CIA is covering up the “fact” that Obama worked for them in Afghanistan during the Soviet occupation there, funneling arms to the Taliban (which didn’t exist at at that time).
- Columbia University who conspired with the CIA to create a fake story of a student named Obama attending Columbia, while Obama himself was in the was working in Pakistan/Afghanistan.
- Obama’s African relatives have caved in to pressure and now staunchly deny that the President was born in Kenya.
- Obama’s grandmother, Madelyn Dunham who fraudulently registered his birth in Hawaii. Also the corrupt local registrar in Hawaii who registered Obama’s birth without asking the smallest question to verify it.
- Attorney General Eric Holder for various reasons including refusal to bring a quo warranto action against the President and for cutting deal with Judge Clay D. Land in Georgia to dismiss Orly’s case (he didn’t).
- The US Department of Justice who defends the President against lawsuits instead of prosecuting him.
- The United States Congress who certified Obama’s election even though all of them knew that presidents had to have two citizen parents.
- A long list of federal judges, such as David O. Carter, who have been called traitors.
- Several state courts who have dismissed birther lawsuits and prevented the documents from coming to light, chief of them the Indiana court of appeals (in Ankeny v. Daniels).
- The government of Kenya. An anonymous affidavit filed by Phil Berg says the government of Kenya has classified Obama’s Kenyan birth certificate “top secret” although in the affidavit they seem to talk about this freely.
- The State of Hawaii, Governor Lingle and Department of Health director Chiyome Fukino (who has been called a criminal for not releasing information and a criminal when she does release information) for her gratuitous remark that Barack Obama is a natural born citizen of the United States. Also the legislature of Hawaii for passing a law restricting the ability of birthers to demand the same information over and over.
- The justices and staff of the Supreme Court, who promised to hear Orly’s case, but didn’t and even (according to her) deleted her case from the court’s electronic docket (they didn’t), and also because the Court held a secret meeting with Obama and Biden just before the inauguration where the plan to hide the truth was hatched.
- The Social Security Administration, who failed to prosecute Barack Obama for (as claimed by Orly Taitz) using 39 different social-security numbers.
- The Selective Service System, who in response to a Freedom of Information Act request disclosed Barack Obama’s Selective Service registration form which birthers claim is false.
- The US Department of State for interpreting their regulations that prohibit release of FOIA information on living persons as applicable to President Obama.
- The main stream media (ALL OF IT) who have conspired to keep the eligibility controversy out of the public eye, except as a matter of ridicule. This includes The New York Times, Fox News Network and the rest of the print media and television. CNN is particularly notable because it fired birther sympathizer Lou Dobbs.
- Debra Bowen, Secretary of State of California, sued by Alan Keyes for not keeping Obama off the ballot. Also Governor Daniels of Indiana and 49 other state secretaries of state for the same reason.
- The Electoral College. Some of its members were contacted by birthers and made aware of the allegations of Obama’s ineligibility. They elected him anyway.
- Me. That’s right, your own Dr. Conspiracy has been accused of doing what I do for pay, not out of conviction, both me and anyone else who defends Obama on the Internet. I don’t actually defend Obama, but just debunk conspiracy theories. But out of the 69,000,000 people who voted for Obama in the last election, you would think a handful would be willing to defend Obama on the Internet for free.
- Former CIA director John Brennan was identified as someone involved with forging Obama’s birth certificate.
- Oh and those 69,000,000 million voters must have voted so because of race or they wanted to destroy America or they were communists or terrorist sympathizers.
- And finally Barack Obama himself who has spent millions of dollars (not really) to keep his documents hidden.

Letter to Investigating Officer in Lt. Col. Lakin Case
BY REFUSING DISCOVERY TO ARMY OFFICER CHALLENGING OBAMA’S LEGITIMACY, HAS THE ARMY TURNED ITSELF ON THE CITIZENRY?

The U.S. Constitution is the oldest, yet shortest, written constitution still in use today. Or has it been suspended for Obama’s usurpation?
Dear Editor: The following letter was sent to the Investigating Officer for the Article 32 hearing scheduled for June 11, 2010, at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center:
Dear LTC Driscoll,
I understand you are the investigating officer in the upcoming trial of LTC Terry Lakin. First of all, you have made a huge strategic error by refusing to allow discovery that would exonerate Lakin in his refusal to take orders from an ineligible commander-in-chief. The whole world now knows that Barack Obama has usurped the presidency and the commander-in-chief position. We have all been made aware for the past 18 months or more that our Constitution requires that the presidency can only be given to a natural born Citizen. Obama does not pass that test with a Kenyan father who passed on his British citizenship and allegiance to his son. Obama was not, and can never be, eligible to hold the office he fraudulently holds. And you, sir, are now complicit in the cover-up by refusing to allow LTC Lakin the discovery that would exonerate him.
I don’t think anyone would argue with your position that “…constitutional jurisprudence allows Congress alone, and not a military judicial body, to put the president’s credentials on trial…” if the president was not also our commander-in-chief. However, the president of the U.S. is also the commander-in-chief of our military forces. You have no excuse, Col. Driscoll, for failing to allow a fellow military member discovery that which would exonerate him. You have taken the road that no officer of integrity would take: the low road, the path of least resistance, the going-along-to-get-along way that only a coward and hater of our Constitution would take. Passing the buck to Congress and abrogating your responsibility to constitutional jurisprudence in this military matter just does not wash and will not go unnoticed by America, or the world, for that matter.
You, sir, also took an oath to support and defend the U.S. Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and you just showed that that oath means nothing to you. No person of integrity would withhold discovery from a defendant who has simply done what he swore to do: to support and defend the Constitution. The Army has lost the respect of all of us who believe in the rule of law and are shocked that it is being denied to defendant Lakin.
I worked with the Army for many years during my federal career and never expected to see this day of disgusting cowardice and miscarriage of justice against a decorated Army officer of sterling credentials and character. LTC Lakin has put his oath, his principles, his career, and his life on the line and deserves to be afforded full discovery of Obama’s credentials. You need to know that LTC Lakin represents millions of us who are absolutely appalled at the conspiracy of silence and cover-up that in which the Army is engaging to carry out this miscarriage of justice. You know the truth. You know Obama is not qualified to serve as the president and commander-in-chief, and it is highly likely that you are aware that Obama has falsified his credentials on many fronts. Misprision of felony would look really ugly on your next ER.

Then there’s Google. Almost every website in the world is a birther website, but Google keeps deleting them from the index so it only looks like a few. Google also occasionally alleges that Taitz’s website hosts malware. Taitz has also alleged that George Soros’s nephew sits on the board of directors of Google, so there you go.

Actually, as Doc point out above, the citizenry also seems to be part of this conspiracy. This conspiracy is so huge that it actually includes everybody in the country except a couple hundred birthers.

Birthers – yes, there tendancy to eat each other leads them to suspect conspiracy among themselves.
As long as Lakin’s legal team doesn’t sanction any communication with Driscoll, that might be great. People should continue to contact him including Obots. I don’t know if Driscoll is really reading the messages being sent to that email but it would be great if he was reading them.
Lakin’s legal team then could file for motion to recuse Driscoll from the hearing because attempts have been made to unfairly influence Driscoll. This would deny Lakin his right to due process and fair trial to have nonbias or influenced officer preciding over his hearing.
It would definitely be worth a shot.

I can’t speak for all who voted for Obama, but I voted for him because I was hypnotized! I mean, by the time I got in that polling both I was all, “These aren’t the droids we’re looking for.” Also, I kinda sorta had a crush on Michelle (those arms! swoon!). Also, I think fluoridation softened my brain . . . also, too, the teaching of evolution, and not being able to pray at high school choir concerts, and gay marriage; looking back, I’m pretty sure they impacted my effecting at some time in point. All the military people I know love this country, they serve proudly to defend us and faithfully follow their orders (unlike Lakin). They don’t look kindly at Lakin shirking his duty. Lakin refusing valid orders causes someone else to fill in for him, that someone else is wearing a T-Shirt showing Lakin behind bars where he belongs. Jame’s delusion and hate of Obama and hate of our country is shameful. If you wish, we can all chip in and send James a one way ticket to Cuba (they think like James does).

After Driscoll is recused, no current Army officer will be able to fill the position because the Army is part of the conspiracy. Therefore, Stefan Cook will volunteer to go on active duty and become the investigating officer. Of course, no current Army officer will be able to be an unbiased presiding judge, so that job will go to Reverend Manning, who will be sworn in solely for that purpose. Manning will then recruit Walter FitzPatrick, Pamela Barnett, and Connie Rhodes to make up the court-martial panel. Orly will be called to testify, but she will be too busy picking out the drapes for the California Secretary of State’s office. Obama will of course refuse to testify, but Ron Polarik will testify that the COLB is a fake. Lakin will be acquitted, with the panel ruling that no military order is lawful as long as the usurper is in the White House. American soldiers, sailors and marines around the world will lay down their arms and go home.

As a young boy, I could not afford to go to Hawaii to visit my brother’s grave at Punchbowl. Well said. I remember that on my first day of liberty at Pearl Harbor I visited the USS Arizona Memorial in the morning and Punchbowl in the afternoon. That was 41 years ago, but I can see it as clearly as if it were yesterday.

I’ve been adding these as I find interesting ones. I never expected my list to be so big when I started. I am frankly overwhelmed.
And it may be that the doctor who delivered Barack Obama was one of the heroes of the Pearl Harbor attack, Dr. Rodney T. West.
What about ACORN? Or maybe that’s a different conspiracy. But as far as I can tell, ACORN is (was) like the Illuminati: a vast, shadowy organization that controls everything. Didn’t they steal the election for Obama by election fraud? Didn’t they cause the financial crisis by forcing banks to make bad loans? I presume they did that on purpose, so that Obama would win, and then could use the crisis to set up his socialist dictatorship. Right?
Well, provided we are not talking about patriotic duty, but about moral obligations, there surely must be more people involved in the conspiracy.
I am thinking of the governments of Kenya, Indonesia and even Russia (remember the Perm incident? the present/day Russian ambassador to the US was a minister at the time, so he must have seen Obama’s passport). The governments of Great Britain, Pakistan and Equatorial Guinea and the management of Air India also know a few things about Obama that they do not want to divulge.
Of course, the birfers could also choose to believe that all these people are being bribed. I suspect “spending millions of dollars” would then be quite an understatement:

As has been mentioned on this blog, there is a poll indicating that a third of birthers think President Obama is doing a good job, which is irrelevant regarding the qualifications for the presidency. To which theory do you think they ascribe? Part of the birther crowd are liberals and democrats who believe that President Obama was born in another country, or are unsure of where. To which theory do you think they ascribe? Is it irrelevant that there are people holding a birther view who are either ignorant of the qualifications for presidency or simply don’t care whether they are met or not, as long as they are happy with the President? [Certainly whether the NBC should be changed by the amendment process is a valid issue, but the law is what it is now.]

I would not label as a birther someone who happens to answer a poll that they do not know whether the President was born in the United States, or think he may not have been born here. I label as birthers those who follow the issue, read and believe only the facts that support their own beliefs and argue the President was ineligible despite the clear evidence that he is.
Of course, I have never actually met anyone who has expressed that opinion to me. Not one.

I think there are a few things going on. First, I don’t think the poll asked about eligibility per se, but rather whether the president was born in the US. The eligibility of those born outside the US is certainly not cut and dried as it is for those born inside the US, but there is good reason to think the courts would not find someone born to US citizens overseas ineligible. Certainly the Senate was willing to state categorically that McCain was eligible. Now I know in Obama’s case that that only one parent was a citizen and there is an issue regarding his mother’s age, but frankly, to the average Joe, that is going to look a lot like a legal technicality. Going 56 in a 55 zone is technically speeding, but most folks would be pretty angry if they got a ticket in that situation. The bottom line is that when people think non-NBC, they think Schwarzenegger, not someone born to US citizens overseas. And I’m not sure that the courts don’t take the same position. Congress certainly does.
Second, while there are those who pretend the Constitution is holy writ, what they really hold holy is what they think it says. Take abortion. For all the impassioned arguments on both sides, the word doesn’t appear in the Constitution. I’m pro-choice, but I base my position not on the Constitution, but on the public policy arguments regarding the fact that making abortion illegal doesn’t stop it, just drives it underground and makes it unsafe. Same with drugs-the courts have said the drug laws are constitutional; that doesn’t make them wise. In fact, I think the current public discourse is much too focused on the Constitution and narrow legalistic interpretations thereof, rather than what is good for us as a society and as individuals.
So, I think most people take a practical attitude. They see eligibility as an issue for the campaign. Once someone is in office, then we switch into governing mode (as adults must) and focus on how they are doing. I actually think that makes sense. I had no big issue with the birthers filing their initial court cases prior to the election. It’s their refusal to accept the verdicts and their desire to continue litigting this (likely they will still be litigating long after Obama is out of office) that are galling.

These were all folks who doubted that Obama was born in the US. I assume their belief is based on one-sided information. If birth-doubting WorldNetDaily is the 500th most popular web site in the country (and I’m like #146,000), I could see how they might not get the whole story.

I agree that those poll results are bizarre and I simply don’t have an answer for why, as there is not enough information to glean from those answers other that to make pure speculation as to their motives or for any more definitive correlation between the data results. If I ever run into someone who fits into that category, I’ll ask them.

I would include former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, who, as head of the State Department, no doubt had immediate access to a copy of the birth certificate (then) Senator Obama used to get previous passports.
I would include Robert Mueller, Director of the FBI. appointed by President Bush; and CIA Director Michael Hayden, also appointed by President Bush.
You did mention the CIA and the FBI, but the fact of the matter is that Birthers have to not only believe that those agencies are involved, but that the directors, appointed by Republicans, were also involved.
