Emails from the dark side

Two emails today from the dark side. The first is one of those that has always baffled me, folks who think that I’m an anti-Obama activist:

Comments: Thank you for pursuing Obama.

The judge is violating their sworn oath to office in your case. The entire Congress is violating their sworn oath in this case. Your argument to the judge should include their sworn oath and how they are violating it. That violating in this case is an act of treason and at least purgery [sic].

The next is one of those fake “eye witness” accounts, folks with personal knowledge that President Obama ain’t legit. It came as if from the original writer [illiteracy included]:

I knew Obamas grandfather, mother, father in Hawaii. I Knew the grandfather first then later when the mother ,father, first came back from Africa with their new baby.  They had much trouble account could not get papers to bring into the US. So had Brit papers for their son. The hate for the US by all three was very great, The socialist grandfather was barred from any military base at the time knew him. To us in the Military at the time we knew him as Stanley the Queer.

The information I know about them and the black socialist they hung with would travel around Hawaii trying to stir up trouble with the locals there.

I know so much more about them and a meeting with Hawaii officials by them and some kind of payment at a private residence. I know much more!

I have tried for 4 years to get my wife a visa after getting approval 2 times from USCIS and 2 times have been refused by US department of State at US Consulate Guangzhou China. I had to furnish documents and tax forms for more then 6 years now and copies of my birth certificate 4 times. same for my wife and son in China. I have had to give them documents for me and my wife since we were born. I have had to let them see many private letters of me and my wife. I have had to furnish private things about my health. I am a disabled American Citizen and Veteran. I have been asked to pay bribes to get a visa, I refused.

This is discrimination, why do I have to furnish all this when Obama has to furnish nothing to be president? I gave all and was refused a visa for my Family.

Birthers seem to believe; when there is no proof for your pet conspiracy theory just expand the number of people involved.

The second email is bizarre. There are obvious grammatical errors. They suggest that the writer is at least an intermediate English language student, or it is a computer translation. Or, it could have been a word game challenge.

That’s why the idiots flooded Judge Carter with telephone calls to get him to rule in Taitz’s favor; he should have hit her with a fine like Land did. Now they’re on the internet telling people to call the Supreme Court to complain about the fact that Taitz didn’t get a court order with Thomas’s signature on it denying her case, which the Court doesn’t give unless the case is actually heard.

  3. Saint James says:

LOL! The second e-mail used a personal story (which is full of loopholes and/or missing information) to justify a dislike for President Obama.

“This is discrimination, why do I have to furnish all this when Obama has to furnish nothing to be president? I gave all and was refused a visa for my Family.”

    1. Obama was born in Hawai’i with his COLB as proof.
    2. The son must be a US citizen, therefore, he does not need a visa to enter the USA. The US Consulate in Canton should have issued him a US passport, that is if the father has proven that the child is his son, i.e., marriage certificate and birth certificate showing that he is the father.
    3. How can the mother be granted visa twice, then denied twice?
    4. “after getting approval 2 times from USCIS and 2 times have been refused by US department of State at US Consulate Guangzhou China.”…THIS IS MISLEADING! The USCIS is a branch of the Department of Homeland Security not the US Department of State.
    5. “I have been asked to pay bribes to get a visa, I refused.”…Good for this person to have refused to bribe “visa consultants”…the US Consulate at Guangzhou http://guangzhou.usembassy-china.org.cn/consular.html has a WARNING: “Beware: many visa applicants lose money or are permanently barred from the United States as a result of misleading information and fraudulent applications provided by visa consultants.”

Someone should get this to Orly, quick! I’m sure that she could sign an affidavit saying that she had been sent an email from some guy which confirms all of these things I made up about the president and go running to the SCOTUS…

  5. Slartibartfast says:

It passes birther evidentiary standards – anything which proves or implies that President Obama was born overseas is clearly true.

  6. Jules says:

I am suprised that nobody has claimed that Obama was born in Ireland based upon this video.

After all, if Obama is more Irish than everyone else, it stands to reason that he must at least have been born in Ireland. And it must be true that no one is Irish as Barack Obama because everything said on the Internet must be true.

One of my favorite videos. I first saw the animated version of Corrigan Brothers song, before this one. Thanks for sharing. Anyways, I have heard that Obama and Dick Cheney share a distant relative. Something more to drive those nuts crazy.

I tried Google, and I couldn’t find this particular story at all. Perhaps we got to see it first. I replied to the email that the fellow should get back on his meds.

Your second correspondent is not only crazy, but lying. A friend of mine, a natural born citizen, is sponsoring his mother for a green card from *IRAN*. He hasn’t been asked for any copies of his birth certificate by either Homeland Security or the Islamic Republic.

That would be the O’Bama clan, be gosh. Síochán leat!

See also this article from the Irish Times and this from the Washington Post.

  12. Dick Whitman says:

Take a hint, Doc. Re-read the article published by AP on FOIA requests. Team Obama does opposition research on FOIA requesters.

You’re not debunking anything. You’re encouraging opposition to Obama.

    Yeah. Right.

Er… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=urMlVn1ZwDg&feature=related I have no idea whether the claim about the Clinton campaign photoshopping Obama to look Arab and Irish at the same time is correct, or part of the joke. (And yes, the comments are hilarious – how it is possible many did not notice this was a joke, is beyond me)

If I were president, I’d be thinking hard about some personnel changes about now after these revelations.

Also, blessings upon you. At first, I was going for the Barack-blessed pun. But, oh well.

“Rabbi, is there a blessing for the Tsar?”
“Of course. There is a blessing for everything. May G-d bless and keep the Tsar, far away from us.”

    Fiddler on the Roof! Nice.

True story: I saw the original production with Zero Mostel. My half-sister worked for Prentice-Hall designing book jackets, and sometimes wrote the blurb. (She went to Pratt)
Prentice held the copyright to “Tevya the Milkman,” so she got tickets. Normally, there was a six-month wait, even for SRO.

Even better: my grandfather once had dinner with Sholem Aleichem, in Moscow. The stories I could tell – oy!

  24. ellid says:

And I owe the second correspondent an apology…turns out that providing one’s own birth certificate is required after all. Still doesn’t excuse the crazy, but fair is fair.

Yes, but you’re not spinning tales from whole cloth. Quite a difference.
