Lou Dobbs resigned from CNN after nearly 30 years amid pressure over his strongly opinionated on-air remarks about immigration issues, and perhaps his radio program where he made calls for President Obama to release another birth certificate.
Now according to Media Matters for America Dobbs has signed on with the conservative Fox News Network where his opinions will fit right in. Last July Dobbs said on his radio program:
I do believe in a national left-wing media conspiracy in which they work in concert and attack like hell.
In response, Dobbs is joining the right-wing media conspiracy.
Lou will feel very comfortable at Fox amidst all the Obama haters and doubters.
I’ve often wondered how the immigration issue became Dobbs’ personal crusade, if there were some story about how it affected him or his family directly.
