Kemp affirms Obama for Georgia Primary

Yawn. There was simply no chance that Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp would fail to affirm the ruling of Administrative Law Judge Michael Malihi that Barack Obama was qualified to appear on the Georgia Democratic Preference Primary ballot on Tuesday, March 6.

In a press release issued today, the Secretary is quoted:

After careful consideration of Administrative Law Judge Michael Malihi’s initial decision and all record evidence based on the criteria set forth in this process, I find that the Respondent, President Barack Obama, meets the State of Georgia’s eligibility requirements. President Barack Obama’s name shall remain on the Democratic Party’s 2012 Presidential Preference Primary ballot.

In a move designed to prevent injury and premature death among  Georgia’s birther population, the Secretary refrained from using the obviously implied phrase: “natural born citizen.”

Some of the comments from the idiotic birther bigots in the birther cesspools are pinning their hopes on the decrepit Shurrif Arpaio and his Posse Cats with his upcoming magical and mystical report.

    Any. . day . . now.

    Pathetic freaks.

  2. jayHG says:

Well that does it….they put up a headline saying that Georgia SOS reversed Malihi’s decision, but failed to not that it was a different SOS and it was 2000!!. Then when this was pointed out, the poster said it was put there to show that Malihi COULD be reversed, people!!

Then they began talking about Kemp, he has to be a patriot, he’s a republican, he’s going to do that cartoon mouse thing: “Here I come TO SAVE THE DDDAAAAAAAY!!!!!! So I will go over there later today……I’m sure that they are having a COW!!!! I can’t wait……

  3. richCares says:

now that this OMG moment failed, birthers latch on to the next one “Sheriff Joe will release his report on March 1”, it too will become “Oh No” like every OMG moment. How many OMG failures does it take for birthers to commit mass suicide?

  4. jayHG says:

…by “they” I mean free republic.

“premature death among Georgia’s birther population”??????

I don’t wish harm on anyone, but . . . I don’t know if I really call such deaths premature.

Yep…although even some of the dim bulbs in Birfoonland are realizing that Sheriff Joe’s recent announcement of a March 1st press conference on his Cold Case Posse findings is just another in a long sequence of push backs….

It is actually easier to read WND’s latest fluff piece by reading it over at ORYR. At least they strip out all of WND’s horrible formatting and insertion of self-promoting ads.

The comments at ORYR are worth reading too. You can see that not all the Birtheristani are happy with this latest shift in dates by Sherrif Joe and are even starting to realize that his eventual “find” is unlikely to tell them anything new at all…

Arpaio ‘is on record saying the findings may be “shocking” to many.’

Well, there’s a statement that cuts both ways. Birthers have been collectively “shocked” to find that irons are hot, what, 99 times now?

  10. Thomas Brown says:

Ah, the soft wet popping of birfer heads exploding in the distance… sweet, sweet music.

    Figuratively speaking, of course.

yeh, just like Trump’s investigation result’s were “shocking”. Oh wait – he never issued a report.

Majority Will: Shurrif Arpaio and his Posse Cats

Shurrif Joe is in Maricopa County.

The Tempe Normal School Sun Devils (informally Arizona State University) are in Maricopa County.

The University of Arizona Wildcats (informally, ‘the Cats’) are in Pima County.

U of A dislikes intently being confused with TNS.

Clearly you meant “Shurrif Arpaio and his Posse Devils”. It makes much more sense on every level.

Its bad enough when Sports Media like ESPN confuse the two schools, but when people who ought to know better, that is people like you have demonstrated that they have more than a couple of neurons to rub together, well, it just makes one want to write stupid whiny posts.

I’m beginning to think that Orly’s head may actually have exploded. Hasn’t been a peep out of her yet about today’s ruling.

Hasn’t it been a bone of contention in Maricopa County that Sheriff Joe has sent out his minions (ahem deputies) to perform busts in incorporated cities without the approval of and/or warning given to the city police departments in the county? In general a sheriff’s dept doesn’t tread on cites where it doesn’t have primary jurisdiction unless it’s clearly a county issue like an eviction or civil process service (I hear sheriff’s deputies hate doing that because they find it demeaning), as well as deputies attached to specific agencies like a transit agency.

Sheriff Joe doesn’t care, and apparently does whatever he wants. I doubt he believes in inter-agency cooperation.

Dang! You mean Joe and Paul’s comments weren’t ironic? I figured they were comedians.

As you noted, G, WND posts are a mess, it takes time to clean them up. Joe will persevere through to the very last typo and run-on sentence.

It looks like SOS Kemp has made it into Orly’s black book. That’ll do for him!

  23. RuhRoh says:

Orly seems to have come completely unhinged this morning. It’s breathtaking!

First she advises her followers to contact Robert Mueller and demand that President Obama be arrested as a domestic terrorist.

Then she advises SoS Kemp’s attorney that she wants to go to mediation or arbitration with Kemp prior to “filing charges against him in higher courts”.

What color is the sky in Orly’s world, anyway?

  24. J. Potter says:

RuhRoh: Then she advises SoS Kemp’s attorney that she wants to go to mediation or arbitration with Kemp prior to “filing charges against him in higher courts”.

Yeah, that was awesome! On what basis …. ?

She’s gone further … wants to boycott GA, steven spielberg, the katzenbergs..

Has declared all judges dishonest (again) … so she’s dropping all her cases, right?

And a great bit of paranoia: “DOES THIS GUY’S PATTERN OF SPEECH SOUND THE SAME AS DEAN HASKINS?” Broadcasting the voices in her head!

    It’s time for a TaitzWatch!

  25. JoZeppy says:

RuhRoh: Then she advises SoS Kemp’s attorney that she wants to go to mediation or arbitration with Kemp prior to “filing charges against him in higher courts”.

I saw that….how exactly does she plan on “filing charges”? Does she have some double secrect position as an AG somewhere? I think what she meant to say was file more “frivolous suits and appeals.”
