Look carefully. The golf/skeet fake photo came from a spoof White House web site. I’ve updated my article with the link.

To call this latest crop of birtherism “stupid”, is an insult to stupidity.
The first question I would ask a “skeeter” (is that the right word?) is, if Obama doesn’t actually shoot skeet but wants people to think he does, why would he not just go to the Camp David shooting range and stage a photo rather than photoshop one?
Particularly since they accuse him of goofing off too much. Perhaps they’re going with the assumption that liberals are skeered of gunz.

I commented on the matter and later deleted the comment…realized my dumb observation was nearly as dumb as the entire question of whether Obama shoots skeet.

Not necessarily, but almost certainly. Layers make compositing a snap. Random Factoid: Photoshop did not feature layers until v3.0 came out in the mid-90s. That was the first version I used. Photoshop w/o layers is pretty much just “Paint”.

Obama is much more clever. He staged a “skeet shooting” picture last summer, anticipating this specific line of attack from the baggers…

If you’re now at a level where virtually *everything* the administration does is called “cover-up” or “staged” or “forged”, will anyone actually care anymore if the government *really* does something disdainful (like Watergate or Halliburton or …)?
I’m not sure if this qualifies as another conspiracy theory, but maybe the right is preparing the ground for when they hope to be running things again – by then the public might already be insulated from claims of “violating the Constitution” or “false flag event” or “forged documents”…
