Reorganization

I saw this cool Cold Case Posse timeline over at RC’s blog (compilation by Verbalobe posted in parts at The Fogbow) and I wanted to link to it. That led to some re-thinking about the menu structure on the blog and as I was editing the menu, lots of stuff disappeared, and so right now there are about a dozen items at the end of the menu missing, most notably the Contact Form has been coming and going. The Media Archives are missing along with the Cartoons.

I hope I can get this fixed; it’s a known WordPress problem when one has as many menu entries as I have. If not, I’ll have to simplify the menus somehow.

What used to be the “Docket” is now called “Resources” and it’s exclusively external links now. My stuff has been moved under Features.

Update:

I think everything is back together. I had to remove the individual state ballot challenges from the menu and put them on a page. Also under Resources I have added the “Birther debunkers wiki” which is worthy of notice.

While I was hand-typing the entire menu structure back in, I was struck by the number of ballot challenges filed in 2012, a ridiculous number of redundant, abusive, frivolous, wasteful and ultimately pointless activities. It’s times like that this that I see birthers as petulant children.

When this stuff happens to you, it’s a software problem to be resolved with patience. When it happens to Orly, it’s a nefarious world-wide plot to hack her site, suppress her civil rights, and tantamount to treason!

Well, obviously Jerome Corsi hacked the Doc’s blog with the help of Roy Moore’s Flying Commandments. 😉

The Kansas Board of Objections overruled Montgomery v. Obama any way.

State Board Votes That Obama Can Be On State Ballot

TOPEKA – The State Objections Board brought the issue of President Barack Obama’s eligibility to be on Kansas ballots to a swift end Monday morning.

After accepting several records related to Obama’s birth in Hawaii, Mark Dugan, Lt. Gov. Jeff Colyer’s chief of staff, moved to overrule the objection and close the board’s meeting.

The board’s unanimous vote brings an end to an objection raised by Manhattan resident Joe Montgomery, who said Obama shouldn’t be on Kansas ballots and isn’t qualified to be president because his parents were not both born in the United States. …

Kobach said today that he’s convinced that Obama’s birth certificate on the White House website matches the certified copy from the Hawaii Department of Health.

“That for me settles the issue,” he said. “It says that he meets the natural born citizen qualification.”

  6. Verbalobe at the Fogbow deserves the credit for the CCP Timeline. He posted this in multiple parts at the Fogbow and I reposted it with his permission as a page on my blog. Doc’s mention of it reminded me that I needed to update it to add Zullo’s latest affidavit and the hilarious attack on Orly Taitz where Gallups called her an “Obama operative”.

If redundant, abusive, frivolous, wasteful and ultimately pointless were a problem for you, you wouldn’t have this preposterous blah blah blog.

[Normally, I would have just deleted this, but I wanted reply to it for the benefit of any birther who actually believes it. This blog is not a waste because participation is optional. I find it valuable and so I pay for it and write it. Other people find it valuable and so they read it. Birthers clog the courts and create legal obligations for the people and agencies they sue. Taxpayers have to pay for all this and most birthers don’t incur the consequences of their actions. Many don’t even pay the filing fees for the lawsuits they file. Birthers impose on other people; participation in this blog is completely voluntary. Doc.]

I find this site extremely valuable as a tool for sharpening my wits. Many highly intelligent, logical thinkers, post here, and I profit by analyzing their thought processes and by the new (to me) information they bring to the table. And no, I don’t just blindly believe what I read. My habit of checking out everything — at least trying to — is reinforced and enhanced here. At my stage of life, keeping my brain in fighting trim won’t improve my finances, but I hope it will help me help enhance my children’s education. One is a college undergraduate, and the other has her masters. She is one who ardentlly embraces new experiences and is an avid learner from whatever quarter.

Since the beginning of the year, Zullo’s has used “VIP” as his own “light at the end of the tunnel.” Over and over again, he’s proclaimed that he’s met or will meet with “VIP’s” who are going to take the birther cause to whole nuther’ level. Yet, in all these months, he never revealed who these VIP’s are and nothing has come of his endless self-promotion.

The second has that incompetent and probably incontinent Krauthammer of Fox looking like a particularly poor example of taxidermy and is obviously channeling his inner “Crypt Keeper”

Yeah, but I meant that I’m waiting for him to actually use the phrase “light at the end of then tunnel.” It is particularly meaningful for those of us who lived through the Vietnam War.

How about if he mangled Churchill’s famous observation from WWII,

“Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of whatever the hell we were trying to do here . . . maybe.”
