Will Arpaio investigate Boston Marathon bombing?

Usually when a headline ends with a question mark, the answer is “no,” and that is my guess here, but still New Hampshire state representative Stella Tremblay is calling for Sheriff Joe and his Cold Case Posse to investigate because they are, unlike the FBI, unbiased. Tremblay told WEEI-FM radio host Dennis Callahan that she didn’t think she was insane.

I’m guessing that, since Tremblay knows what the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Cold Case Posse is, she must be a birfer. Mike Zullo, Boy Detective, is far too busy meeting with “VIPs of standing” about the birfer investigation to take on any more work.

BTW, the show host is not named Dennis Callahan. It’s The Dennis and Callahan Show. It’s hosted by John Dennis and Gerry Callahan.

Stella Tremblay, New Hampshire Legislator, Emails Link To Video Questioning Obama’s Citizenship (10/12/2012)

(excerpt) State Rep. Stella Tremblay (R-Auburn) sent the email Monday to Secretary of State William Gardner and the 400-member state House with a link to the YouTube video, “Not Natural Born – TRUTH MATTERS.” In the email, Tremblay said she did not know if the video was legitimate. A liberal blog in New Hampshire, miscellanyblue.com, first reported Tremblay’s email earlier this week and The Huffington Post confirmed the legitimacy of the email Friday morning.

“I do not know if this video has been edited,” Tremblay wrote in the email. “If this is not the case, there is a BIG PROBLEM.”

The 2-year-old video, posted on the YouTube account of Freedom Flag 1776, includes clips of Obama appearing to say he was born in Kenya. The source of the clips, according to the posting, is ObamaSnippets.com, a parody site . . . . .

. . . . Tremblay, elected in 2010, is known as one of the more conservative legislators in the state. She has sponsored a bill that would have required the teaching of the Bible in public schools and a bill to form a committee to study the impact of Agenda 21, the United Nations’ environmental sustainability treaty, on New Hampshire. Neither passed, but the House did pass a measure to ban Agenda 21, which does not carry the force of law in the United States, in New Hampshire. Tremblay also sponsored a successful resolution to praise pregnancy care centers, which counsel women not to seek abortions.

Gawd, I would hope not. Given his performance with the Obama birth certificate forgery cold case, he’d never get around to filing criminal charges! 🙂

By the way, I heard through the grapevine that they almost asked Orly Taitz to serve as Tsarnaev’s public defender, but then they realized the Constitution actually entitles the man to competent counsel.

Since when did TP clowns let jurisdiction get in their way?

    *************

Of course, Stella didn’t think. She’s fried all but one of her brain cells–and that one is on life support…

Wow, this story gets a triple facepalm with a half-twist.

Tremblay sounds familiar … was she involved the the prior birferific follies in NH? Accessing backup memory (Google) …. yup! Here’s another fun one, with video:

    Awkward.

  12. US Citizen says:

There’s nothing for him to investigate any longer.
Think he’s going to get cooperation from the FBI or DHS?
    No way.
    They’ve cleaned up.
They have the suspect and the evidence.
The only way he “investigates” the bombing in Boston is if he has some penchant for baked beans or some other motive.
No serious law enforcement officer is going to give him the time of day and he knows that already.

  16. JD Reed says:

The most absurd suggestion I’ve heard in a long time from a public official – aand that’s going some — is New Hampshire legislator Stella Tremblay’s suggestion that the Maricopa County Cold Case Posse take over the investigation of the Boston Marathon bombing from the FBI – because she supposes that Sheriff Joe’s folks are not biased like the FBI.
Actually, the Cold Case Posse is about as unbiased as Rush Limbaugh.
And of course, the crime scene has long since dissipated. The photographs and other evidence taken by real-world investigators including the FB I, the Massachusetts State Police, and local police are the remaining representations of the scene as it was the afternoon of the explosions. But withouthaving been on the scene, it’s impossible to imagine how even professional investigators could make much headway up at this late date.
They’d obviously need to obtain all the evidence the federal, state and local investigators have dug up. If they started from scratch without availing themselves of the evidence gathered so far, their investigation would be severely crippled. And if they didn’t trust the interviews already completed, they’d have to subject people traumatized by the event to relive their tragedies all over again.

Then there’s the little matter of jurisdiction. Theoretically I suppose the FBI could, with the permission of higher-ups, appoint Cold Case Posse members as special investigators. The chances of this happening? Slightly less than a single molecule of a snowflake surviving in hell.
Finally, law enforcement as a whole has made giant strides in professional skills and knowledge over the past three or four decades. The Cold Case Posse is a bunch of amateur wannabes that nowhere near meet these standards. I would say that they’re not yet up to the speed of Mayberry RFD.
New Hampshire has approximately 1 million residents over 18,
That’s 2,500 adult constitutents per House seat , so at any given time 1 in 2,500 adults in New Hampshire belongs to of the House of Representatives.
By far this is the lowest adult constituent-to-represenative ratio in the U.S.. In one sense, this makes the New Hampshire House the most representative legislative body in the country, in that the lawmakers are most like those they represent.
The downside is that logically, more people down the IQ scale get elected.
In the Lone Star State, a magazine called Texas Monthly awards Bum Steer awards each January to the public officials and other public figures who’ve done or said the most egregiously dumb things over the preceding 12 months.
Not saying Stella would earn a Bum Steer if she were a Texan, but I am certain that she would be a strong contender.

Well, Wilson and Hitler were both racists who favored sending troops into other countries, but other than that, they didn’t have much in common.
