A week later, Bill Bryan aka Foggy appeared on the Charles Kuck Immigration program to respond to Mario Apuzzo. Thanks for the shout out to Obama Conspiracy Theories.
Here it is:
I’ve listened to the first segment and have these comments:
- John McCain was born in 1936, not 1937.
- John McCain was born on the Coco Solo Submarine Base, not in the Republic of Panama. The idea that McCain was born in hospital in Panama was a crude forgery. The newspaper announcements said on the base, and the reporter who actually saw McCain’s certificate said it was on the base. This is not controversial.
- The law in effect in 1936 did not make children born in the Canal Zone citizens. There was a “donut hole.” A later law was passed that retroactively made such persons citizens at birth. (The statute is cited in Robinson v. Bowen).
Doc, that “donut hole” was only in regards to persons born in the Canal Zone. Here’s a very interesting (and downright befuddling at times) committee report that accompanied the 1937 bill addressing the matter:

Some guy named Jack Cashill wrote a book about Flight 800 several years ago. He asserted the government lied about what happened to the plane. Now six of the investigators are coming forward to support Mr. Cashill’s contentions. Some of the “whistleblowers” were paid government workers who have kept quiet about the truth until their positions and pensions within the government were not in jeopardy. You may want to consider this typical kind of bureaucratic courage and conduct as you assess conspiracy theories about obama in the future.
Is it a coincidence that they waited until there was a movie coming out before they “decided” to come forward?
Foggy used my quote. I feel honored.
Well that is easy: The theory that president Obama is not a natural born citizen is flawed because of his documented birth on US soil.
Nothing really to it.
The same Jack Cashill that deliberately lied about and faked a photo with the President’s grandparents.
Jack Cashill is a clownish buffoon.
Jack Cashill: Take A Knee
http://mediamatters.org/mobile/blog/2011/04/07/jack-cashill-take-a-knee/178438
Well, that’s off topic for this blog, but why should I believe you?
Cashill deals in misinformation for a living. You are apparently one of his clients.
Not just that, he did such sloppy work that a blind man could see the clone tool traces. As if he thought birthers would turn a blind eye on anything that supports them and only start pixel-peeping when something seems to refute them. And of course he was right.
IIRC he later claimed that he created the fake photo as an “illustration” of how the “real” photo would’ve looked like. And birthers on Youtube went “of course, and this proves the Obama photo was faked”. Hey, it’s birfer Bizarro world where real photos are fakes and fake photos are real (and proof that real photos are fakes)…
Slightly OT, I wonder what birthers would’ve made of that well-known Rand Paul child photo if Paul were black: http://redstateeclectic.typepad.com/.a/6a00d83452719d69e20168e535fac7970c-800wi
I mean, c’mon, the kid’s obviously photoshopped in and the white iPod earphone cables are a clear anachronism! (And I don’t want to know what they clone-stamped out in the grass to the right of them.) 😉
Jack Cashill is a liar and a RWNJ. And those so-called “whistleblowers” are the same discredited idiots who have been blathering this conspiracy nonsense about Flight 800 for years:

Part of his left arm looks an awful lot like Frank Marshall Davis.
Thanks for the link to that article, alg. Despite physical evidence that the center fuel tank exploded from within, conspiracists cling to their dreams of high crimes and coverups. Not that I can’t relate – I mean, I get excited every time I hear Bigfoot has been captured, even though I know I’m going to be sorely disappointed. But at some point – I’m looking at you, birthers – you’ve got to give reason a chance.
David Sussman, one of the commenters to that TWA article, put it very well, IMHO:
“Vietnam and Watergate were huge reasons for the influx of conspiracy theories, as both events made people doubt government. Indeed, Watergate was a conspiracy, but like most real world conspiracies, its scope was limited and the number of people involved few.
Since Watergate, conspiracy theories have exploded. Events like Watergate, the influence of popular novels and films, and the vast numbers of low-information voters who now have access to “knowledge” with the click of a mouse has allowed people’s minds to roam in frightening ways.”
FLOGGY! FLOGGY! the loser did it again. FLOGGY aka FLOOGY did make the most ignorant remarks at the beginning of his debut to characterized as DUMB FLOGGY.
Can anyone believe that the United States pwesident would move to a form of government as we have here in the “nord”?
The hanky panky white house dolt will be held accountable for his chicanery … as nixon and clinton were held accountable.
Hopefully the drug head in your white house will be proven to be the worst leader in the whole history of leaders in the world.
No American patriot would wish the President to do a poor job.
🙄
So far, he has been doing quite well. Poor loser you must be.
No patriotic person, no humanitarian person, indeed no senisible person, would wish “the worst leader in the whole history of leaders in the world” on any country, let alone the one that’s been a beacon for the world now into its third century. Think of the untold suffering this would entail in a few short years aheadf. Misanthrope is too kind a word for this type of individual.
Ed Hale is that you?
