The ObamaReleaseYourRecords web site got a little excited last night when it was found that the Cold Case Posse web site was inaccessible.
That was an artist’s conception, not the actual suspended account page.
Commenters at ORYR sense a conspiracy:
- LibNutJob: sieg heil
the Nazi’s took em down - Ronny: A lot of blogs are being taken down by the Obozo Commies this week! –
The CCP site is hosted by Atjeu Publishing, a commercial Internet hosting company near Phoenix, Arizona, that offers web hosting plans starting at $5.95 a month1. Perhaps Mike Zullo, the registered agent of the Cold Case Posse, didn’t check his mail and his credit card had expired or something.
The software that runs the Cold Case Posse site is called Joomla™, a Swahili word meaning “all together” or “as a whole.”
In any case, the site is up as of this morning when I checked it; however, a web site sharing the same IP address as the Cold Case Posse, OldFartsClub.com, is suspended.
Update: ORYR reports (after I commented that the site was back up) that the site is back up.
1The CCP web site has a shared IP address, which means that they are using either the Super Saver ($5.95/mo) or the Budget plan ($12.95/mo). There are 40-something other web sites that share the same IP address, including:
- coloncleansingpill.org
- customspasandpools.net
- srneagleaussies.com
- bestweightlosssupplement.net
- abandonedpropertyspecialists.com
- crownkingsaloon.com
I was sorta hoping to find Spatula City there, but I had to settle for The Hanger Store.
What’s that you say? “Joomla” is a Swahili word? They speak Swahili in KENYA! 😉
I especially love this thing on their website in the “About us” section.
So, my question to Zullo is how many cold case homicides have you solved?
This is the sort of perfessional operation that will bring down a president.
Or sell you boner pills.
I think you have hit on the cause of the CCP web site outage.
It was an exploding irony meter at Andy’s Meter Shop, whose web site shares the same server as the Cold Case Posse!
Update: ORYR reports (after I commented there that the site was back up) that the site is back up.
The effect on search engine ranking between shared vs. non-shared IP addresses is a hot topic. The one clear disadvantage of a shared IP, and the reason this site no longer uses one, is that you can be affected by malware hosted at another site on the same server. The other negative is when your site is associated with a link network, a gimmick designed to boost search engine ranking by having unrelated sites link to you. It turns out that the Cold Case Posse server does host a link network called One Way Blogging. Google gets very upset when they catch you doing stuff like this to fudge your ratings. The Cold Case Posse doesn’t appear to be using the link network, just being hosted on the same server with one.
Shows the level of delusion on their side of things.
A website goes down, “ERMAHGERD! CERNSPERERCER!”
So damn hungry, it feeds on itself.
kind of a boring story though doc. but, I really liked the part where every time it saw a notch along the side, it flashed a light at the paper and then measured via sensor, how much light was reflected back. that was very exciting,
i’m still trying to catch my breath.
They forgot to add this to their site……

Yep, their crack investigation teams work by starting at anti-birther websites to find out whats really going on.
How about asking your pal Zullo how many cold case homicides his posse has investigated? That should be exciting.
Should he have added a few any day nows and send money to catch your fancy?
The CCP is the perfect team of crack investigators, considering where their heads are stuck.
