   Another thing to add to your list of how scam artists operate:

   They never pick up Certified or Registered mail. If they didn’t sign for it they never got it, doncha know?

   They also use Post Office boxes (as opposed to boxes at UPS stores and those sorts of places) so that doesn’t happen and so no one will sign for anything they don’t want.

   This mailbox is located at the Daisy Mountain Post office at 44047 N. 43rd Avenue which is about 35 miles north of downtown Phoenix.

   BTW….Your mailing to PO Box 74374 is the same address that receives mailed donations. If you would have sent your letter in a window envelope with a dollar bill in view, it would have been claimed.

   The bottom line is that it’s all part of the scam…..all designed to make it very difficult to find Zullo.

    Yes, I think you’re right about it being the main point for incoming mail.

    Until recently the SO had offices spread all over: The Sheriff and some of his command staff were in the Wells Fargo Building, and sections were in several downtown buildings plus the Durango complex. It was the sheriff’s snit fit about the new building that got him cross wise with the supervisors and tangled up in the stuff that cost Andy Thomas his law license.

    It will be interesting to see if they sign for something sent to the Cold Case Posse. Let us know what happens.

    As Doc noted it appears Suite 1900 is the point for all incoming mail, etc., at the SO but, that said, I do believe I’ve heard someone talk about the Cold Case Posse having a desk or space in the General Investigations Division.
