“Thanks to whomever procured these. They are a gold mine.”
Awesome!
Great to have the actual transcripts. It sure helps people consider whether an objective reasonable person with knowledge of all the facts would conclude that the judge’s impartiality might reasonably be questioned.
IMO, the transcripts confirm that the motion for recusal is desperate and utterly baseless.
J.D. Sue,
“IMO, the transcripts confirm that the motion for recusal is desperate and utterly baseless.”
That’s the way I see it, too. Judge Snow has been extremely fair and protective of Arpaio’s rights. I expect Judge Snow will deny the motion to recuse. That’s when the real fun begins.
Arpaio claims to control Zullo at one point in his testimony. Previously, MCSO has stated that the posse is independent and not under MCSO control. Zullo claims to be under MCSO control. Both the posse and MCSO claim the posse is controlled by the other. Nobody files tax paperwork for the posse. Arpaio, in his testimony, implies that MCSO should be responsible for oversight of posse finances.
