So what am I going to do without this blog? I’ve already talked about my volunteer activities that will keep me busy. I also intend to travel1, and I’d really like to visit Trollstigen (English: “Trolls’ Path) in Norway.
Not that I haven’t reached my fill of trolls on this blog, but this locale along with Geiranger seem so peaceful. And the trolls? They don’t say a thing.
1I actually traveled a good bit while running this blog, including travel to Russia, Ukraine, Belize, Costa Rica, Argentina, Chile, Canada, Mexico, Germany and Panama.
That looks great!
Doc,
Happy Trails to you!
I spent the better part of a year in western Norway. It is beautiful. I also spent some of the time in Oslo. It is a vibrant city with a young population.
I had a trip to Norway scheduled for July-August 2020, but will cancel due to the Corona virus.
That’s too bad but perfectly understandable.
I finally made it to Norway and saw some fjords and some trolls.
I spent the better part of 2008 there. Mostly in Haugesund on the west coast but also spent some time in Oslo. It was a beautiful country with wonderful people.
Haugesund is the home of Marylin Monroe’s father. They are quite proud of that and even have a statue of her by the quay.
