President Obama’s aunt Zeituni Onyango was living in Kenya in 1961 and remembers being shown the letter from Barack Obama Sr. to her mother announcing the birth of a son Barack Obama III in Hawaii.
Ms. Onyango is now hurt and angry over recent statements by Donald Trump casting doubts about Obama’s origins that she characterizes as:

A large part of the hot air under the birther movement comes from an edited phone conversation between Onyango’s stepmother Sarah Obama and street preacher Ron McRae that appears to have her saying that she was present when President Obama was born, although in the full version it is clear she is saying exactly the opposite, that the President was born in Hawaii.
Obama family members have said in numerous interviews that President Obama was in Kenya for the first time as an adult. This is even reported by Jerome Corsi in his book, The Obama Nation (p 24-25).
The story of the letter from Hawaii announcing Obama’s birth was originally reported by the Chicago Tribune in March of 2007.

What hospital was Obama born at? If he was born there, why would he not let them confirm it? That’s the least of the privacy issues.
Since he wasn’t born there, why has his camp lied?
There are lots of shady aspects to the story, including an image on the internet that no legal authority (nor any newsgroup, which those at this site have claimed but have never given one shred of evidence for) ever saw but his own eventual (Joe Miller) federal employees “saw and handled”

Yeah, he didn’t let them confirm it. He just wrote them a letter saying he was born there, let the Governor of Hawai’i read it at their centenary celebrations, let them put it on their website and let them use it for fund-raising. But He never let them CONFIRM it.
Odds are good you cant even see the hilarity in that statement…
