Charlie Sheen questions Obama, blasts Palin

On a stop during his Violent Torpedo of Truth tour [whatever that is] Charlie Sheen was quoted by Fox News as saying:

“For starters, I was f**king born here, how about that? And I got proof! Nothing Photoshopped about my birth certificate,” Sheen said.

Sheen, toying with a run for President, called Palin a “lunatic from Alaska.”

Bachmann is no longer questioning it

Speaking on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Bachmann said Wednesday that she accepted the validity of a signed, stamped Certification of Live Birth that showed the president was born in Hawaii in 1961.

“Well, then that should settle it,” Bachmann, a favorite of the conservative Tea Party movement, said on seeing the document. “I take the president at his word.”

  3. FUTTHESHUCKUP says:

Asked if that ended the story. Bachmann said “I guess it’s over” and added the birther question “is not the main issue facing the United States right now.”

Guess she decided she’d milked it for all it was worth.

She also realizes that the GOP is going to have to deal with the birther nutcases and their loony theories sooner or later as the election gets closer. They don’t want that little old lady getting up at the town halls saying, “Why doesn’t Obama show his birth certificate?” Of course, there’s only one answer to that, “He already has shown it.,” but it would make them really uncomfortable having to say that at a televised town hall.

Border States – F**king Point of Clarification

Charley Sheen also said: “I’ve been reading this blog ever since I’ve been winning and read once (can’t remember if it was in an article or comments section) that because of birth fraud (midwives falsifying birth testimony) in states bordering Mexico (possibly others also) the State Department required “long form” birth documents to do a more detailed assessment of citizenship claims for passport purposes.

Now I’m reading (here and at http://www.obamaconspiracy.org/2011/04/are-long-form-birth-certificates-an-endangered-species/) that Arizona does not provide these more detailed types of birth documents. So does the State Department require more detailed birth documents from border states or not or is my Tiger blood making me mis-remember?”

Charley went on to say: “Clear this up and you can come over to my crib and party with my goddesses. It’s all about winning, dude.”

  7. bjphysics: So does the State Department require more detailed birth documents from border states or not or is my Tiger blood making me mis-remember?

The extra documentation was required for Texas and California where some midwives were caught filing bogus certificates.

This weight is worth its Tiger is blog blood.

Just wait until she goes back on Fox. That’s the problem she felt like she was trapped in a corner with George once she goes on Fox and has a receptive audience she’ll sing a different tune

You’re probably right, Bob. I saw the clip with George showing her the birth certificate with the seal, the registrar’s assertion that it was a valid legal document for all legal purposes, and all that. She really couldn’t deny the evidence that was right before her eyes without looking like a fool. But when she goes on Faux, it’s likely that she will forget all that.

The funny thing is, he’s still more stable than Orly Taitz, Dr. Kate or most of the other birther peanut gallery.

  12. Obsolete says:

Oh no! With Charlie Sheen now (possibly) on the birther’s side, what chance do we have? Obama will be out- any day now!

Seriously, do the birthers ever look at the type of people on their side (Orly, Trump, Berg, Lucas, Manning, Wells the Bigfoot hunter, etc.) and wonder why they are surrounded by nuts, kooks, and criminals?

Fut notice the words she used after she was shown the certificate she again said she takes Obama at his word even though it was the State of Hawaii’s word right in front of her. John Stewart addressed her weaseling on this last week

I agree. This isn’t the first time she’s gone back & forth on flirting with birtherism.

She’ll be back to dog-whistle pandering the issue or even more open Hannity style Concern Trolling as soon as she’s back facing a receptive audience. She has a strong proclivity for McCarthy style pandering to gin-up her base. She won’t be able to help herself from reverting to that.

Yeah, she also said, “It’s over as long as someone introduces it,” whatever the heck that means. I guess she means that as long as the president goes to each and every American’s house and “introduces” his birth certificate to them. lmao

Well to her that was the first time she had seen it. George dropped the ball by not following up by saying. It was introduced back in 2008 did you fall asleep under a tree or something?

  17. Keith says:

Charlie Sheen for President? Well, he’d probably do a better job The Donald (or most of the other GOP hopefuls for that matter), but give me his dad any day.

A third term for President Bartlett in 2016?

Here’s a Texas site where this is stated:

Collin County County Clerk Services: Birth Certificates.
“EFFECTIVE JULY 13, 2010 THE PASSPORT OFFICE CAN NO LONGER ACCEPT ABSTRACT (SHORT FORM) BIRTH CERTIFICATES FOR A PASSPORT APPLICATION. IF YOU NEED A BIRTH CERTIFICATE FOR THE PURPOSES OF A PASSPORT APPLICATION, YOU MUST CONTACT THE COUNTY IN WHICH YOU WERE BORN OR THE BUREAU OF VITAL STATISTICS IN AUSTIN. IF YOU CONTACT THE BUREAU OF VITAL STATISTICS YOU MUST SPECIFICALLY REQUEST A LONG FORM BIRTH CERTIFICATE.”

  19. JD Reed says:

At last account, my Texas county or residence, Taylor, issued “short form” certified copies of birth certificates, very similar in information to Obama’s COLB, whixh were accepted both for obtaining drivers licenses and passports. (My son obtained both, in the latter part of 2010, with the so-called short form.)
So wonder what’s different with Collin County?
