The birthers focused on trying to keep Barack Obama off the 2012 primary election ballots, something that they utterly failed at; however, another approach has shown modest success. Federal inmate 11593-051, aka Keith Judd, garnered 40% of the vote in the West Virginia Democratic Primary, and is entitled to at least one delegate to the Democratic National Convention. One wonders if Judd, scheduled for release this June, will attend the Democratic Convention in September.

As I recall the West Virginia Democratic Primary is open……..to anyone.
It will be interesting to see if Mr. Judd makes if past security….should he decide to attend the convention.
One has to wonder who the birthers would vote for, given a choice between Obama and Judd.
One is a Causasian felon, the other an Ivy League-educated black man. The birthers would vote for the former.

A pretty childish stunt by republicans. Would anyone believe that the supermullet would spend $2500 of his own money on that?
I wouldn’t put it past the guy. If you read the link, he sounds like quite the character. I doubt any remotely mainstream Republican organization was backing him. $2500 is a decent sum, but it’s hardly a fortune that the average man cannot hope to attain. Heck, the guy’s a criminal; maybe it’s drug money.
Or maybe he sold a kidney or a haunted house or a fake birth certificate.
Mr. Judd’s official campaign biography says that he has several PhD’s, including studying at Harvard; Judd’s father invented the atomic bomb and is currently chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission. Throw in the problems about his birth story (his named mother died about 30 years before the date he was born). It’s not clear to me who the birthers would vote for.
