Contemporary photo surfaces
The State of Hawaii has repeatedly verified that the long-form birth certificate released by the White House in 2011 matches the information from their official records of Barack Obama’s birth. Claims of forgery have been roundly debunked. But what about the official records themselves? Birthers want to see the microfilm copies of Obama’s original certificate in Hawaii, but what’s to say that the Obama conspiracy didn’t start before the original birth certificate even reached the Hawaii Vital Statistics Bureau?
Anyone creeping around the clerical offices of the Kapi’olani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital would have been stopped and questioned, but could an innocent-looking lost child have slipped in to insert a forged certificate into the official work flow and thereby make for himself a place in history? Does this photo of the pseudonymous blogger called “Dr. Conspiracy” hold the key to Obama’s downfall?

The typewriter would sell for $25.00 today. That *table* would be at least $800, and with four chairs, upwards of $1500 or more either in primo condition or in a condition that can be passed off as “shabby chic” in certain markets.
You could tell Orly the lad was only using the black keys.
More in perfect condition. Unusual color of finish, with original case and warranty card, etc., could get a couple hundred, from typewriter nuts. But yes, the table would be a much harder, and more awesome find.
I’m wondering why the photo is misaligned from the all-too-convenient dates. And what’s going on with that left edge? Hell. that dot ain’t even centered! We demands better fakery!
The dot is authentic, but the date is fake. The actual date is Jan 59. The left edge is authentic.
I was channeling my inner birfer wif a suspicious mind. Anyone whoever ever printed an enlargement knows there’s nothing suspicious about the edge. The type was very convincing, appears authentic (well, a bit clear and sharp, but perhaps the photo was well-kept), congrats. Typeface?

One can clearly see the check and pen used to sign it on the table.

But I’m certain it’s a young mathematician who ends up writing political rants later in life.
He is playing in the key F-sharp major? G-flat major would be easier but might be considered a forgery.
