In an article by Bub Unruh published yesterday at WorldNetDaily, a reader poll was included asking: “Is the question of Obama’s eligibility a dead issue?”
One must have an account and login at WorldNetDaily to vote in their polls, so these 874 respondents might be considered the “hard core” WND types. Essentially 100% (all but 5) said it was not a dead issue. The most popular answer (58%) said:
No, this is a question of vital constitutional significance – we ignore it at our peril
I left this comment:
The reader poll is a hoot. It says a lot about WorldNetDaily when essentially 100% of the respondents supported a nut-case conspiracy theory. Yes folks, the bottom of the barrel is right here.
BEST ROAR of the day, doc
since “this is a question of vital constitutional significance”, how do they account for the fact that it was never raised during the campaign?
from WND: Major Televised Event Will Expose Obama’s Ineligibility Before Electoral College Certification?
Are they thinking some Senator will be convinced to go along with a couple of crazy representatives and challenge this election?
A WND poll suggests that Obama might not be eligible? Still?
Give me a clipboard and a day care, and I can prove that Santa Claus exists.
Yes, plus one Congressman.
More votes, the %age is holding. When combined with the other “red meat”, loaded, leading responses (“a finding of ineligibility is the single way to stop him” (22%) and “NOW is the time to take action” (10%)), 905 of respondents are dancing to the piper’s tune.
Then refer to the comments. The usual rationalizations …. no birfer case has gone to SCOTUS, no case ever tried on the merits, no court anywhere has ruled / they have all hidden behind ‘standing’ … I like how they always imply that standing is an invented, cowardly concept.
I am not registered at WND and I would like to make it publicly known that if I were voting in that poll, I would say it is absolutely a dead issue. The hiding of their poll behind a registration wall makes the point of having a poll absolutely moot. I don’t want those crazy loons to have any of my personal information, therefore, I apparently can’t vote.
Confirmation bias is skewing their own poll. LOL
Don’t you all understand???!
This is a VITAL issue. Vital I tell you!
This is valid reason for not performing proper service or correct venue and an excellent reason for “emergency” court service and injunctions.
We’re in a Constitutional Crisis!!!
Hell, I bet we could get Obama out in 30 days!!
30 days is all we’d need if everyone quit drinking the kool-aid and opened their eyes.
… sorry.. was channeling Orly.
But funny enough that stands for Obama Really Loves You.
They began requiring a login earlier this year, in order to guarantee they get the results they want. Only the faithful will trust WhirledNuts Daily with any contact info!
Meet WND’s newest columnist, Rick Santorum
http://livewire.talkingpointsmemo.com/entry/rick-santorum-to-join-world-net-daily-as
Didn’t it come out that his father had not naturalized before Rick was born, thus making him ineligible according to the sacred tablets of Birtherdom? Apparently, as many of us suspected, that’s OK in WND’s view if you are a white Republican.
… Till All Implodes To Zilch. 😉
Well, it’s still a bit more honest than other birther website polls which allow people to vote multiple times without having to go through lengthy and discouraging registration processes. After all, that’s how Orly deluded herself about Obama’s re-election chances when some (birther or birther-leaning) websites had polls that saw Romney get 8,000 out of 8,200 votes.
That’s their next OMG moment. And at least the idiots over at ORYR prove that they haven’t learned from the Arpaio failures, or the Trump failures, or all other disappointments these “events” turned out to be.
So let’s get ready for another month of birthers … off over “just you wait Obots, you will all be going to jail in a month” while we keep laughing as many times before.
Next up: Jerome Craigsy as agent 00TXE in “The Stupid Never Dies”, starring Donald Trump as the Bond girl Ellie Gibility and Orly Taitz as the villain Dr No Standing, or the other way around.
The poll has been up for two days and they have a total of 1,104 votes as of this morning. It makes me wonder if WND’s hits are dropping
Yeah, I saw that!

He’s almost a perfect fit. If only he were a protestant evangelical. I’ll give WND this: they have managed to avoid pope-bashing (I think ….), in order to appeal to Catholics on social issues(?).
Yes, all the Santorum-bashing articles are still on WND (kudos to them for not firing up the memory hole). But they also wrote a lot of Santorum-praising articles.
While looking, I came across a hysterical birfer piece:
WND EXCLUSIVE
Fox says Tebow ineligible to be VP
But not a word about Obama’s status as ‘natural born citizen’

I should have known. Silly me. I should have known better that to expect them to abandon such a fine ‘Merican tradition. Thanks Doc for keeping it real!
It makes me wonder how many people on WND are posting using multiple accounts. It’s one thing using many Disqus accounts and another to register multiple times on WND to vote.
I don’t know about multiple accounts, but I have seen some commenters just machine-gunning comments onto an article. No repsonses needed. They just keep poping off, generally with stock winger rhetoric. Often incomplete thoughts. I noticed this guy last night, displaying this behavior, was tagged a “top commenter”! LOL Quantity over quality.
birtherism is morphing into secessionism. The man puling the strings of both movements is the same:
Tim Bueler.
head of US Media Direct.
publicist of Jerome Corsi (was arrested with him in Kenya)
leader of Teaparty.org
founder of “We the People” website – promoting the secession petition to the WH
minuteman
media relations manager for WND – media@wnd.com
having done extensive search on the man I believe he is the author of the fake Lucas Smith certificate, after having failed to get one from Kenyan forgers (the true reason for his and Corsi’s arrest).
Good. Let them go, especially Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi.
Louisiana has legalized peonage: http://www.nola.com/crime/index.ssf/2012/05/louisiana_is_the_worlds_prison.html
Louisiana is the world’s prison capital
The hidden engine behind the state’s well-oiled prison machine is cold, hard cash. A majority of Louisiana inmates are housed in for-profit facilities, which must be supplied with a constant influx of human beings or a $182 million industry will go bankrupt.
Clearly too big to fail… But don’t worry, if times get tough, they’ll just privatize the police and courts, too, and then make *everything* illegal. Zero percent unemployment, and let them bons temps rouler, baby!
Don’t laugh. Shrub figured out a way to privatize a war.
There’s your $1T deficit.
