My position is that Barack Obama raised the most significant questions himself. He said, after he came to the U.S., that he traveled to Pakistan. Now at the point that he traveled to Pakistan it was not legal to go there with a U.S. passport. And so he, himself, raises the greatest questions. I think that those questions need to be asked. Now, then, my question would be to you all at what importance, what importance? You can typically fight two or three major battles in a year, major, and for me, if we don’t get our economy going, nothing else works.

School records aren’t adequate to indicate a person nationality. However, the important thing is there is absolutely that suggests that a person named “Barry Soetoro” renounced his citizenship or has been adopted.

He’s the duly elected president and I respect that.

His named was changed to Barack Hussein Obama II after the Soetoro adoption was annulled. We know that his CT SSN he remained an Indonesian National after the name change. A quick check of his SSA Form SS-5 will affirm he was a legal resident of the US and not a US Citizen in 1975-1976.
We know that his CT SSN was due to a clerical error in the baltimore SS headquarters. In 1975, SSN were issued based on the zip code of the return address. The PResident’s house in Hawaii was zip code 96814 and the zip code for Danbury, CT. is 06814. There for he was a US Citzen from 1975 until today.
Also how does an Indonesian National get a SSN? Don’t you have to be a US Citizen?

Unfortuneately, Vattel used “les naturels” not “les citoyen naturels.” Why is anyone surpirsed that “les sujets naturels” would be translated into “natural born subject?” The literal transaltion would be “natural subject” which was use interchangeable with natural born subject in Calvin’s Case itself. This is actually good evidence that “les naturels” by itself would not mean “natural born citizen” and they can find no french-english dictionary of the time that says it would. I looked at many dictionaries of the time and Les naturels is translated as “natives” or “naturals.” Will the stupidity never stop.

I found a few blogs that spent some time trying to verify if any of these people actually existed. Gandy Baugh also appeared on the Clinton death list, and apparently there was such a person — he died at home in 1994. There is of course a Rev. David Manning, who is very much alive.
Seems like if you want to construct a smear like this, you could take the trouble of listing actual people who had actually died, who maybe even actually had ever met the President. This one seems to be mostly people who never existed.

An Oct. 8 article by Michael Carl is utterly devoid of skepticism, uncritically relaying all of D’Souza’s assertions and avoiding all discussion of D’Souza’s egregious factual errors that seriously undermine his theory that Obama is driven by anti-colonialism (not to mention the general wackiness of the theory). Indeed, Carl quotes nobody but D’Souza, treating him like an oracle. Then again, skeptical reporting on Obama-bashers is not something that WND does.
Meanwhile, in his Oct. 8 column, conspiracy-monger Jack Cashill takes the unusual approach that D’Souza’s crackpot theory didn’t go far enough. No, really.
Cashill complains that D’Souza makes Obama’s mother “seem a hapless innocent,” when she “was a veritable teen beatnik, hanging out in Seattle’s coffee shops talking jazz, foreign films and liberal politics.” Did she wear a beret and have a goatee too, Jack?
Cashill also laments D’Souza’s “large omission” that “celebrity biographer Christopher Andersen confirmed my thesis that former terrorist Bill Ayers played a major role in the writing of” Obama’s book “Dreams From My Father.” In fact, as we’ve noted, Andersen himself backed away from this claim in an interview on CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” during which he explicitly said, “I definitely do not say he [Ayers] wrote Barack Obama’s book.”

Mr. Obama is unfit for duty as the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the United States, and is unfit to hold clearance for state secrets.

I recently attended a local townhall meeting in the DFW area held on August 19, 2010 where Congressman Joe Barton spoke to our local district. Joe spoke for about an hour, primarily
about Obamacare. He took a few a questions from the crowd afterwards. Blank note cards addressed to Congressman Joe Barton were available to write him questions and turn in to his
staff afterwards. I wrote my questions on one of these cards. I asked Congressman Barton what was being done to secure Texas’ borders and shouldn’t we follow in the same footsteps as
the state of Arizona AND why has he not questioned and demanded Barack Obama release his bona fides and prove to the American people that he is elligible to hold the office as POTUS.
Six weeks later, Mr. Barton answered my letter. He has been a strong supporter of securing our borders and enforcing our current

Barton is deliberately confusing the concept of being born a citizen and being born a natural born citizen. There are three ways to be born a citizen, two are by human law, and one is by the laws of nature:
1. Born in the US – a citizen at birth per the 14th amendment.
2. Born abroad to one or two US citizens – a citizen at birth by federal statute.
3. Born in the US to two US citizens – a citizen at birth by the laws of nature.
Only the citizen at birth by the laws of nature is a natural born citizen.
Barton is also incorrect when he says there are only two requirements to be President. The 3rd requirement is having been a resident of the US for the last 14 years. Our Founding Fathers understood that foreign influence came not only from birthplace and parents, but also from having lived recently in a foreign country. Hence, the 14-year residency requirement was like a cleansing period — to cleanse a future president from foreign ideas, culture, values, etc.

I have always believed that the reason the McCain’s team did not use the Vattel legal treatise Section 217 as part of his argument and defense of his “natural born Citizen” status is that the Progressives/Marxists in this nation and especially in the Progressive Caucus could not allow McCain to use the Vattel exceptions without the core, natural law definition of “natural born Citizen” in Section 212 being revealed in the process. Revealing Vattel’s The Law of Nations or Principles of Natural Law and in particular Section 212 would have brought the Citizenship of the parents being very important to the founders and since Obama’s father was never a U.S. Citizen and not even an immigrant to the USA, the Vattel writings would have eliminated Obama during the public debate of this in the primary season. So McCain and Obama and the RNC and the DNC made a deal. You don’t use Vattel and promise not to mention Obama’s citizenship issues during the campaign and we the Dem and Progressive powers to be in control of the Senate Judiciary Committee will give you this resolution declaring you McCain a “natural born Citizen” with that little lie in there about you being born at a base hospital inside the Canal Zone that did not exist in 1936. They both probably winked at each other and thought no one would be the wiser and they’d both get away with it. And with the RNC and DNC both on board with the usurpation and/or ignoring of Article II of the Constitution, their powerful friends in the main stream media went along with it. Not only did McCain stay quiet on Obama’s citizenship issues, he would not even allow people to mention Obama’s middle name. The gentleman’s club Senate Rules and back room deal were in effect for the campaign after they both secured their respective nominations. And thus their cabal created the worst constitutional crisis since the Civil War. He was referencing what the rule of the civil law was, not saying we followed such law in America. Later he specifically says children born in this country of aliens were citizens. Duh.

This hearkens back to the sacralizing of the Constitution. What is this “law of nature?” Do snakes recognize the difference between a person born in the United States to aliens and one born to citizen parents? Can any birther give an explanation of why the one is different/better than the other than simple hand-waving and chanting “law of nature?” The “national security” argument is silly, so don’t even go there.
If it’s something intrinsic in human nature, then why do some states even recognize jus soli?
Is it even something that people would even choose if they were forming a new nation?
